Summary: A man moves to a new town and gets harassed by these annoyingly perfect "good kids". He makes friends with the local rejects, one of which is a conspiracy theorist, another who is an albino, and a third who soon becomes a romantic interest. Together they discover that the jocks are actually lobotomized zombies and that they're next in line. (imdb)
Has everything cheesy horror should have: unintentional laughs, bad acting, boobs, terrible plot, etc. What's not to love? Another thing I enjoyed was how they ripped off both Total Recall and A Clockwork Orange in the same exact scene, it was epic. Also, Katie Holmes is so fucking hot.
I remember being moderately amused by this as a 14 year-old, when I caught it on a cable network during the day. Yeah, Katie Holmes is the worst actress in the history of mankind, and the plot is nonsensical/stupid. Still, there were some neat comic touches, the janitor rocked, and the guy who played the freak-turned-jock was legitimately good. Solid time-waster.
One of my absolute favorite horror/sci fi movies. The premise is creepy and the script is well written. One of the few movies where I actually liked Katie Holmes.
mikrocip, robot insanlar, insana hükmetme, okul, yeni ögrencinin hikayesi, akil hastanesi (yeni okula gelen ögrenci mavi kurdelalilar isimli ögrenci grubunun siradisi olduklarini ögrenir ve fark eder. bu ögrenciler okulun caliskam ve sportif ögrencileridir ama gözlerinden iceri bir cip takilarak yönetilmektedirler. ) otomatik portakal, dogville, matrix (cip, robot benzerligi) hot fuzz (kasaba ve garip olay benzerligi) sacma
Teen body-snatcher horror film that often gets confused with The Faculty, which is a much better film overall. Nick Stahl is great in this, but the material just somehow doesn't fit, and Katie Holmes is horribly miscast.
The premise & cute high school kids really make the picture. Of course i
would have preferred everything to go a lot further. To be applauded for being
brief & not bothering with lengthy explanations, although i have the feeling
the picture went through a real chop job.
Essentially it's Invasion of the Body Snatchers except modified to suit a teenage audience. None of the acting is particularly good, although to be fair the script isn't anything beyond standard teen-horror stereotypes either. It's got a couple of good moments but really nothing above that.
Quite an enjoyable teen Horror/Thriller that follows Steve moving into a new town with a mysterious group of students called the 'Blue Ribbons'. It has a great dark and creepy atmosphere and its really intriguing as we find out more about whats going on with the students. Gavin (Nick Stahl) is a great character, and James & Katie have good chemistry together. Overall a very enjoyable film with plenty of twists and turns along the way, plus whats a 90's Horror without a cliffhanger ending ;)
Nice little teen thriller. Great performance by William Sadler in this. Too short though, could have done with some fleshing out
Couldn't help thinking that this must have been what it was like for Katie when she became a scientologist, except Tom didn't bust her out...
