An okay spin on the romantic comedy - actually funny.

A reasonably good comedy with Chris Rock enterting another man's body which causes plenty of good laughs. Regina King is also a stand-out as a woman who catches his eye. The storyline is simple but easy to follow and there are plenty of good laughs thanks to Chris Rock who makes them easy to deliver. It's nothing we haven't seen before but worth watching for a chuckle.

Feeble comedy that wastes Rock's talents and does not compare to the two earlier versions of the same story; it lacks finesse and style.

Chris Rock is a funny guy, but his films are generally not good. There are some funny jokes, but do not expect much of the film, which is very predictable.

This is a second remake. That's a clue.

Rock is a TV star and a great stand-up comic, but for whatever reason his schtick just does not transfer to the big screen. Not in leading roles anyway -- Kevin Smith seems to know how to use him effectively. There are very few laughs to be had here, which is a disappointment considering the source material. I usually like the Weitz Bros., but this one's a swing and a miss.

Very good comedy here from Chris Rock, he's funny, racy, and very genuine when things get serious. Wanda Sykes really carves out her type-cast character here, too.

Wuh Oh, a black man in a white man's body!?!? What kind of wacky shenanigans will ensue???? It's actually one of those movies you expect to be bad, but with such low expectations it's not terrible. Has some funny moments. I wasn't a big fan of the whole stand up comedy aspect in this though.
