Kind of boring and rather dated. Not as good as many of the later bond films. A couple of extra points for style.

A little flawed, but a contender for the title "Best Bond film". Connery is absolutely amazing despite his at times obvious scottish accent.

Rather slow . . . but Connery is more brutal and scarier here, and I like him that way.

The birth of a legend! Connery is the perfect 007 and his girl is Andress! The movie introduces all the basics of the Bond mythology (except the cars - that comes in Goldfinger, the third movie). Who cares about the plot!?

Wildly flamboyant, this still possesses the novelty values that made the series so popular.

The first of the James Bond movie sensations, it was in this film that Connery began his ascent to stardom as the indomitable British secret agent 007. As with most of the series' films, there is a blend of nonstop action and tongue-in-cheek humor.

Watched this simply wanting some light entertainment with some explosions, which it delivered. I like the slower buildup- typical of many action films of this time but it just seemed to be lacking in invention and energy at the climax, but it's perfectly enjoyable and Connery is definitely charismatic.

A classic Bond movie. It's got women, gadgets and a standard villain. It's not just some action flick, it has heart. It's never too serious and Connery does a great job of portraying a classic playboy man. If you haven't seen this one I heartily recommend you do.

It's Bond during it's golden era. I still maintain Connery is the only Bond. While not his strongest Bond showing it's still better than any of his successors/imitators.
