Loved the acting (especially the American generals)... The model plane on a flying backdrop was very very lame but it is a very old movie, I guess :)

The scene that sticks with me the most is when General Turgidson informs the President of the situation and the President just stares at him with a "You're joking" face. It's Sellers' film, really, and I know Kubrick tricked George C Scott into it but the performance he gave as Turgidson but it is really amazing.

A fantastic satire about the cold war. A beautiful movie, I watched it again quite recently and it holds up in every way.
