A black comedy masterpiece. Peter Sellers gives some of his greatest performances in three separate rolls.

Never a better black comedy than this cold war offering from Kubrick. Sellers three part trifecta is not matched in any film and George C. Scott shows his comedic talent. I love this movie.

Its bold (for its time) irreverence can be seen, but in my opinion, the humor is somewhat lacking. In a memorable comedic supporting role George C. Scott chews the scenery, but that's a compliment.

Time has not been kind to this movie. I don't think I laughed once. The satire may have been groundbreaking at the time, but with the Cold War over, it's obvious and dated.

A lot of the jokes were a little too on the nose for me, not unlike Leslie Nealson films. It does have its funny moments, but they just aren't laugh out loud funny most of the time. Although it does have an amazing opening title sequence, beautiful shots, and out of this world acting. Even though I didn't find it that funny, I wish there were more comedies like this that could be serious contenders for the best picture Oscar.

Black comedy has never been blacker...and rarely funnier. And while I would not, as some do, call this the "most memorable and insightful satire in cinematic history", I would also not claim to be able to think of a better one off the top of my head.
