At the time did not seem so bad, but would not see again. Is a comedy that is not very funny and the horror that has no horror.

How can a pairing of Mel Brooks and Leslie Nielsen possibly go wrong?! Sadly, the individual jokes are mostly hokey, predictable fare, and most of the secondary characters disappoint, especially Renfield, who should have been absolutely hysterical, but was less humorous than the version in the original "Dracula" with Lugosi. It still has some funny morsels of humor here and there, but the script is awful, and they just can't draw much humor out of it. Mediocre.
