Standard Hammer Horror fare. Fun stuff but nothing special.

Call me crazy, but I liked this one more than Horror of Dracula. The style and atmosphere lacking in the original was present here. The use of colors and shadows was excellent, and sets and matte effects were superb. All of the actors did commendable jobs, especially Lee, who absolutely shines as Dracula. I know it's more popular to prefer the first one, but Dracula Has Risen from the Grave just really clicked with me.

Lots of religious symbolism, colorful lighting effects, and a memorable scene of Lee pulling a bloody five-foot wooden stake from his own heart.

Interesting premise, but ultimately I think not very well executed. Barbara Ewing looks great in lingerie.

Gruesome but effective.

Francis took over the directorial reins from Terence Fisher for Hammer Films's third Dracula - Lee vehicle, and the result, while visually striking (Francis is an Oscar-winning cinematographer), is a major step down dramatically.
