It's a fair story with a self-contained plot that manages to bring the same genuine good feelings as the original movie. Throw in the same sumptuous animation, and it makes for a very enjoyable spin-off short.

I don't know what everyone is seeing in these dragons.

A small Christmas sequel to "How to Train Your Dragon", Gift of the Night Fury was a cute, short (and by short I mean 22 min.) animated film about the Vikings holiday Snoggletog. This year they are celebrating it with Dragons during peacetime. This movie was pretty fun but my only beef about it was that it was really short. I've seen this movie retail for 20 dollars which means it's almost a dollar a minute to watch... and it's not that great! It was touching at times and did make me tear up.

Daaaaaw so freakin' cute!

Again a very nice and alive animation, but the story was thin. And I did not like the conclusion, the gift of the Night Fury.
