Belligerently opinionated, irredeemably smug, & even contemptuous of most of his fan base it's hard 2 believe Ellison has as many great friends as he says. 1 also has 2 wonder whether no small degree of his fame comes from this "shtick" since the excerpts of writing chosen r good, but not all that impressive either. Fortunately he's armed w/ enough intelligence & humorous anecdotes 2 make spending 90 mins watching his 1-sided hectoring interactions & thoughtful pontifications fairly entertaining

A super-entertaining movie about the curmudgeon of Sci-Fi, Harlan Ellison. Adds a level of depth to the man that the newspaper blurbs on his wacky behavior never reach.

Incredibly entertaining to see who Harlan Ellison is as a person. Yes he can be an absolute jerk but he's still a very colourful character that has a lot of good points to be made. Of course one cannot forget the tremendous amount of work he has put forth either. Great watch if you're a fan or if you've never even heard of him.
