Summary: Three visions of the same story, each seen through the eyes of a particular character, two men and a woman, with one common denominator: sexual frustration. A theater troupe arrives in a small provincial town near the Yugoslavian border. Cristina (Nathalie Bonnifay) dreams of being an actor, falls in love with Dino (George Alexandru), an actor, but she must marry Horatiu (Marius Stanescu), who is a conscript in the same town. One of the best Romanian movies of the early 90s. It's funny as hell and it benefits from a pretty uncommon storytelling technique - you get to see the same scene from different perspectives, with each new perspective adding a new previously unknown element that gradually builds up the story. Yes, there's some cheesiness and it might look cheapish, but in the end E pericoloso sporgersi packs quite a punch for a seemingly innocuous movie.
