Summary: A reckless youth is destined to become the greatest sorcerer that the mystical land of Earthsea has ever known. When the young wizard Ged discovers that he possesses infinite magical powers, he seeks to master the ancient arts. Its a ok movie, one of the better tv movies. Just not as magical as one would think. A lesser Harry Potter movie in my opinion.

It may completely butcher the books, but as a movie it really isn't that bad. The CGI is awful, but the gebbeth was really cool. The biggest surpise however was the acting which was quite good for a Sci-Fi channel mini-series.
