Beautiful, really. I happily stared through this, but I just wish Anger would be less abstract, because eventually what he's good at is telling a story.

Much more subtle and relaxed than Anger's previous films, Eaux D'artifice stands as a weird mix of abstract (the exploration of water and its texture) and expressionistic (having a midget woman play the role in order to distort the dimensional relations of the space) filmmaking. Very delightful and inspiring.
