Summary: Justice T. Vasudev (Babu Nampoothiri) & businessman Kuwait Mani (M.G. Soman), both pals, gets killed back-to-back & in each case, a piece of coconut husk is found shoved in their mouths. DSP Haridas Damodaran (Mammootty) investigates the case & finds that a friend of theirs, Rosario Fernandes (Devan), was killed the same way 2.5 years ago in Bombay. Haridas's suspicion falls on Rosario's mentally ill son, Christie (Suresh Gopi), who had recently absconded from the asylum he was being treated in. (by iceblox)
