Serkis is a great Einstein, playful, energetic, obnoxious and modest at the same time. Tennant and rest of the cast does a decent job as well. The film itself simplifies the ideas within a bit too much, but at the very least it suffices obliterating the evil science & scientist mythos.

Good performances (Jim Broadbent!) and an interesting story are the recipe of this movie. Science should only seek the truth and not think about politics. Einstein and Eddington are a good example for it.

Tennant is an absolute marvel as Eddington (and Serkis's Einstein and Broadbent's Lodge are also most definitely worthy of praise), and even though it's occasionally deficient -- the Einstein romance angle, for example -- it's still a great examination of the conflicts of science and politics. Definitely one to watch.
