I really like how the trilogy has this progression from reality to fantasy. Saura uses the same dancers/actors throughout the series, and they're fantastic. Once again, the dances are amazing... gorgeous, expressive, colorful. The only problem is that there aren't enough of them. Although the tale being told (kind of a gypsy flamenco ghost story) is compelling and full of passion, some of the dramatic scenes are a little repetitive or drawn out. Nonetheless, an enchanting film.
