Summary: In this warm-hearted and poignant road movie, a man and a dog embark on a delightful adventure across the stunningly beautiful Argentine Patagonia. (Cinema Tropical)
An unassuming little film about the simple things in life - a man, his dog and the road. Although Sorin hints at some of the problems being faced in Patagonia... lack of employment, economic hardship and so on, the best thing about this film is it doesn't contain an ounce of cynicism. Juan Villegas does an amazing job, despite not being a professional actor. He's naive, he's trusting, you keep waiting for him to be screwed over, but amazingly it never happens. It's just a really lovely film.
Nice story, really liked the main character, he was innocent. It left me wondering how he got to the point the movie started at, like for example what happened to his wife. Seemed like his whole life was probably similar to the parts shown in the film.
