Summary: In this sequel to Sebastian Gutierrez's comedy Women in Trouble, Carla Gugino plays Elektra Luxx, a Valley-dwelling Los Angeles porn star who receives the kind of news that few women in her line of work want to hear: She's pregnant. Adrianne Palicki and Joseph Gordon-Levitt reprise their roles from the first film, with Timothy Olyphant, Malin Akerman and Alicia Silverstone rounding out the cast of oddball characters.

Hard to know what to make of this tongue-in-cheek comedy which feels like it is cobbled together from spare parts, sketches, and characters gathered in a writer's notebook over the years. It doesn't have a strong grasp of plot, but this shortcoming does result in some very funny impromptu moments and skits. Gugino blows hot and cold but doesn't fully convince in the lead role even if she is a good comic. All the others feel like cameo roles. Everyone involved has done or will do better.

Anoyingly unfunny comedy... All the points go to Joseph Gordon-Lewitt for taking a step back from his promising career in order to work on this "sequel"...
