For inexplicable reasons I adore the Black Emanuelle series and the utterly beautiful Laura Gemser and her depraved Sadean adventures, but this entry is a bizarrely disjointed bore, far tamer and gentler than its jaw-dropping sequels. Clearly Joe D'Amato is still finding his feet here and the plot is almost completely aimless, still an enjoyablely trashy exotic travelogue with strange, watchable sweetness about it.
