Summary: Suffering from writer's block, struggling author Jean finds his financial problems swept away when his elderly, invalid across the street neighbor Jean-Eudes Guillemet dies from a heart attack and leaves his vast estate to him and his pretty wife Michelle, apparently to spite his less than cherished relatives.
