The lovely script and cast really elevate this classic melodrama far above standard. Of course, there are still a few of those gag moments, but they fit nicely with the theme of lost love. In the end I'd say it was a rather cute and charming, if somewhat sad, film told with a bittersweet and graceful melacholy. Also, the way Reis utilized the numerous flashbacks truly was enchanting (clever title reference ;). P.S: I'd like to nominate Selina for biggest bitch in movie history. Man what a jerk.
