Stupid yet kind of funny. The fact that it's probably Brendan Fraser's best work is funny in a sad sort of way. As a side note, Pauly Shore isn't nearly as annoying as a side character as he is when he is the star. Or maybe his Shtick just hadn't been shoved down our throats yet.

This was really bad, just bad

All I remember is "Gazungas."

Ooohhh man... where to begin. Paulie Shore co-stars, so you know it's zany, it's about a caveman (who doesn't like cavemen) and Brendon Fraser doesn't have to speak coherent english so there isn't too much to draw back on the quality of the rest of the film ;) Overall a dumb comedy movie, but one of my favourites since I was a kid.

I enjoyed it.

having been a kid at the time, it's hard not to have a soft spot for pauly shore movies, they may be rediculously stupid, but that hasn't stopped me from appreciating other stupid things.

High school is hard enough as it is, most jocks could pass for cavemen anyways, so I find this movie redundant. I can't remember if they get the girl at the end so I'll guess, yes, yes they do.

Teen flick which probably did the job of its time.

Brendan Fraser as a frozen caveman and Pauly Shore as the dudebro loser who thaws him out. Practically no laughs.

Guilty pleasure, I must admit. Get stuck in New Orleans in the middle of summer with this replaying on HBO over and over in your air-conditioned hotel room and you'll build up an appreciation for it soon enough.
