"What sparks are felt throughout come largely from Hurt and Ejiofor, who both seem to understand exactly the type of talky, tentative movie they're in and do their best to bring in some glints of humor and uncertainty." - Matthew Connolly

Endgame has a superb cast with William Hurt, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Johnny Lee Miller at the helm. The story itself is an intriguing one. A large corporation attempting to resolve South Africa governmental problems which will benefit the country and the company that has a monetary stake in it's stability. Endgame is presented as a thriller and undoubtedly lifts it's style from Syriana. However the film itself is a drama and the thriller angle feels tacked on rather than necessary.

Strong acting in a middle-of-the-road thriller.
