With "Evergreen" UK cinema catch up with the American style of movie musicals with a carbon copy of the Warner Bros '33 format. They even have grand Busby Berkeley style dance numbers, and the guy that did them was also a double-B - Buddy Bradley. And this truly was grandly cute. Much due to the leading lady 1930s of British cinema Jessie Matthews being as adorable as she was. The visuals was just as striking as Matthews herself. Truly excellent job by director Victor Saville.
