Exactly the sort of strange, pretentious movie that could turn an impressionable youngster off to anything non-American or remotely artsy for life. Toback fills this movie with his trademark weird, silly "look Mom I'm directing" camera moves, and plays a small role in the film to boot as a teacher. Scrawled on the blackboard behind him in one scene is "Touch of Evil", which Orson Welles must have taken as an insult

I don't know what really to say about this film. It didn't really do anything for me. It wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't great either. At least it started and ended with a bang. Also, there were boobs.
