I think I've seen this about 10 times on TV and have forgotten it every time. Despite what it tries to do it just ends up being goofy. Extra points for a non-romcom-Grant.

Lex Luther heads a conspiracy to find a cure for spinal injuries... hmmm... Dreadful but does deserve some credit for the uncanny way the director makes paraplegics intrinsically threatening by their association with the film's conspiracy plot.

A serviceable thriller that manages to get most of the way through its runtime before it becomes cloying and overly preachy, it's not hard to see the twists and turns as they approach, but Grant is (inexplicably) just about charming enough to drag the audience along with him. Not great, but definitely not awful.

This rather silly movie attempts to explore questions of the ethics of medical research, but seems to come to a very ambivalent conclusion in relation to these questions. As a piece of generic entertainment, it suffers from a distinct lack of mystery: from an early point the viewer knows what is going on, why it is going on, and who is responsible. Thus the narrative unfolds with almost absolute predictability.
