Never blossoms into what it could be, feels immature and unsatisfying compared to the likes of Spiderman, XMen etc but I can't wait to see a Spiderman/Human Torch spinoff!

Spends far too much time establishing the characters and yet very little time motivating them. Even still for a one shot it's a decent time waster. Anyone calling this the worst adaptation Marvel has to offer hasn't seen Ghostrider.

The movie is weak and shows that the filmmakers didn't understand the characters. It's saved, however, by an absolutely charming and engaged cast.

I remember Keith David saying about the original Fantastic Four made-for-TV movie "2 hours of your life you will never get back". Despite the hundreds of millions of dollars Marvel and Fox pumped into this, it had the same effect as the first flop. PS The Thing looks like a turd with legs.
