Cussin awesome !

Fantastic, indeed. Incredible attention to detail, with some of the best stop-motion you'll find anywhere, complemented by excellent use of light, shadow and color. I loved the way in which Anderson kept his compositions two-dimensional, giving it the quality of a traditionally animated film. It's sly, consistently amusing, and loads of fun. And of course, the soundtrack. "Heroes and Villains" and "Street Fighting Man" in the same movie? Fuck yeah.

Clever, enjoyable, and very well done, even if I'm not certain its really a children's movie. Anderson's dry, at times philosophical, tone, and the extreme attention to detail and aesthetics that marks all of his films, works well in this context. I always find his movies to be likeable and charming, even if there is always a hard edge there too, and it may be I have underrated them.

Awesome animation and totally reimagines one of my childhood favorites. Just a little too hipster at times.

Lovely film! Suits almost all ages, and has a lot of humour for adults aswell. Great story, and love the visual feeling of the film.

Very convoluted sense of pacing in this film. I went through most of the film wondering when the plot was going to start, and when I realized we were well into it, I was at a loss. Still, great dialogue, very funny, and very crazy. While I think the movie is a bit overrated, it is one of the few movies I think I'd be able to watch back-to-back with itself.

More animals that act like people. Who doesn't love that? Oh, and watching snooty farmers get their comeuppance? need I say more?

I'm usually not a big Wes Anderson fan, but this was a charmingly offbeat tale.

Fantastic... More auteurs should indulge in animation (Fuck off Tim, you had your shot, go cry in a corner emo-kid!).. I definitely want to see a Cronenberg or John Woo stop motion before I die of supernatural causes

I'm a sucker for animation, particularly stop-motion. Even so, Fantastic Mr. Fox has a great sense of humor, a wonderfully portrayed set of characters, and a visual splendor which I believe easily overcome any qualms one might have concerning the over-indulgent whimsy that often oozes from Wes Anderson's films.
