this movie has so much going for it early..you got a couple..a grieving family over the death of thier son..a father who has his own demons he is running from people he owes money too..a woman who feels guilt over the death of her son..they break down and find a farmhouse with some weird people in it...the movie then has so many twists and turns..and it gets weird to the point you say why did you do this or that when the twist you are this or that..good gore scenes though

Pomysl na historie jakis byl, gorzej z jego realizacja. Film poczatkowo bardzo intryguje, jednak od srodka jego tempo nieco zwalnia, wyraznie widac brak pomyslu na przedluzenie filmu, ktory przeciez musi trwac przynajmniej 70 minut. Koncowka jednak jest na tyle przewrotna (niestety rownie bardzo kiczowata), ze calosc oceniam pozytywnie :) Smialo mozna zobaczyc, aczkolwiek bardziej widzial bym ten film jako jeden z odcinkow Masters Of Horror. W tym przypadku 45 minut wystarczylo by w zupelnosci.

Good. This film starts out great and stays that way till the very end. The direction and storyline is taut and superb performances except the male lead. Not much blood or gore but what little there is, is shown to full effect including a scene featuring a bland kitchen instrument that will make the most die-hard torture-porn veterans cringe. Most people will have issues with the genre cross-over ending which I was fine with as it only effects the last few minutes. Recommended.

The story was okay and editing nice. They slide past and present good. But the biggest problem was directing and executing the story. The flick did not rise itself on the level the story could let it be. Of course a couple of rewriting would not make any harm.
