Snailpaced, artsy french horror film that centers on equal parts bloodletting and fuckmaking. Don't expect frights or even coherence, as this is an Absinthe-soaked mood piece all the way. Myes.

Words of interest: blood, lips, breasts, eyes, knives, fire, sex, red, black, camp, chateau, vampires, DEATH. I'm not all that lucid right now but I enjoyed the hell out of this movie, as cheesy as it may be. Erotic horror is usually throwaway but this one has a beautiful look to it.

Some arresting images, but overall this was a snoozefest.

A dark erotic fantasy, prettily realized but with a weak script. It is quite sensual, with most of the cinematography as luscious as are the actresses. It features flourishes of softcore pornography, and ultimately, of mostly unsatisfying horror. The performance of Fanny Magier in particular, as Helene, is arresting, while some of the others are just barely adequate.
