I watched this in its entirety because my time is worthless, and I can assure you that once you get through the awkward first act, it gets really good.

The problem with certain sorts of experiments like this is that they really should be installation pieces you can watch as little or as much as you want instead of being forced to watch it all. Only in a few cases would this sort of thing work, which this does not and ends up taking an interesting idea and not doing anything of interest with it.

I'm sure this is somehow a deep display of the artistic theory of film. I don't care; it still sucks.

How does stuff like this even become notable enough that's it's still known about over 40 years later? Did people sit in arthouse cinemas in 1966 actually watching this shit and talking about what it means? Is it just an elaborate practical joke? Truly baffling. For the record, I lasted about a minute, including a browse of the IMDB page...

Pretentious crap; I sat through the first five seconds or so. Sadly, other similarly awful garbage under the fake disguise of "art" manages to trick people.

Worst part is that it's not even 6:08 minutes of film in which appear edge lettering, sprocket holes, dirt particles, etc., but maybe 25 (frames!) in cycle in which there appear edge lettering, sprocket holes, dirt particles, etc. This means a fucking second in which there appear edge lettering, sprocket holes, dirt particles, etc. repeating for 368 seconds in which there appear edge lettering, sprocket holes, dirt particles, etc. I think in 5 seconds most people would get the main idea.

A complex film, full of hidden and subtle messages about art and the human condition. It is also immensely watchable -in those six minutes, it develops a risky narrative full of plot twists and unexpected resolutions. The characters were multi-dimensional and I thought the camerawork was ground-breaking. The musical choices were also superb. Really, what more can you ask for?

Significant for just how long it makes 6 minutes seem. If it weren't for the fact that it was a huge waste of time, I would recommend anyone wanting to extend life to watch this film over and over. I've seen 3 hour films shorter than this.

During the first minute I was like "What's this?". Then, deliberately or not, it became hilarious. Unfortunately, after the third minute it gets rather boring. As the story and its complex characters develop, though, there's a remarkable plot twist at 03:51, but it doesn't lead anywhere until the mindblowing final eight seconds. One must also mention the epic title that describes such a profound film with a mere twelve words, three commas and a dot.

For anyone who's ever projected a film, you'll get more interesting results from projecting the tail-end. I'm sure there's some sort of stupid philosophy behind this but I don't give a damn.

Well, it's certainly a descriptive title. And the edge lettering pulses in a somewhat hypnotic way, but boy, I stopped watching after about 30 seconds, concluding that there were more important thins to do in life.

Margin shifting to center, center to margin needs something happening in the new margin to create the novelty. If you are gonna show me a derivative obvious idea why make a film out of it? A picture would suffice.

Well the ideas behind is are nice. You even think it's neat in the first minute... not 6. It goes into "Shit" territory. Watch it for 30 seconds and then you got the general idea. So points for the ideas expressed, no matter how abstract, and points for it being ballsy.
