Great fight scenes. The plot is shallow, but everything in between the fight scenes are usually pretty watchable.

Extremely nationalistic martial arts movie. Plot is regular revenge story, but the martial arts choreography elevates the film to the whole new level. Dramatic acting of Bruce Lee is weak, but he sure knew how to make a good looking fights.

action wise it is far better than enter the dragon, but the plot is so terribly shallow i got annoyed to the point of anger at this movie. if rated only on the action and completely disregarding the terrible ending i'd say this one is a definite watch, but other than that it's a pretty miserable movie.

Decent, moderately fun action, but nothing more. Bruce does not even remotely compare to the super-athletic kung fu movie stars of even 5 years after this was made, and the early 70s were still an early, pioneering time in the mastery of Hong Kong Kung Fu. That being said, the fights were more energetic and creative than in 1971's "The Big Boss".

Like pretty much every Bruce Lee movie it contains a pretty shallow plot, poor acting but absolutely incredible fight scenes. Watching Bruce Lee kick ass in a kung-fu film like only he can is a real wonder to behold. Even though everything but the action is poor you can totally see just how incredibly skilled Lee was. In short, see it for the action.

Lee is one crazy motherfucker! Spending his time growling, killing and hanging people, so needless to say, cool fights occur and people are broken.. Deeply indebted to Westerns, and in particular the revisionists, it offers some bad-ass moments from Lee's antihero, but in the end it gets a bit boring when he isn't brutalizing someone

Some of the fight scenes were impressive, mainly the ones with Bruce Lee doing his lightning fast stuff and nunchakuing people on the head left right and centre. Others were rather badly choreographed, with senseis swatting students away like flies and dubbed punch noises popping up in all the wrong places. Anything that wasn't a fight scene was pretty awful, and the story was totally uninteresting. Not helped by the American dubbed version. Nice ripping-off of Sergio Leone by the director.

Good kung-fu action. "The Showdown at the House of Blue Leaves" scene from Kill Bill owes everything to this movie's first action scene--which also stands as cinema's model for the "one versus many" action scene. It crosses the line of insanity in the latter half (Lee in the disguises makes me giggle) but it's all a part of its 70s charm.
