Lo Lieh is the head of the evil Lotus clan, who is trying to wipe out Shaolin. Gordon Liu is part of the Shaolin clan whose fiance and best friend are killed by the Lotus clan, so he trains in diverse kung fu styles for revenge. Typical stuff, but Liu and Lieh are both in top form, and it has sexy Kara Hui playing the widow of his best friend who helps him train. This is essentially a remake/sequel to the earlier Executioners from Shaolin; it's a less serious movie, but has better choreography.

Lieh Lo as one of the greatest on-screen villains (Priest White Lotus) of kung fu cinema and Gordon Liu being, well, Gordon Liu make this one of the better genre films to come out of that decade. This is a semi-sequel to 1977's "Executioners From Shaolin".

Fun, Lieh Lo is a great villain (the death palm is a neat trick), though I did get a little tired of watching Gordon Liu trying to claw out his balls - we get it! He can retract them! Chill out with the ball clawing, man.
