Appearently this is one of Tarantino's favorite films. Well it is pretty cool. The lead is pretty uncharismatic but who cares, the fights are great, and oh there's so many of them! That theme from Kill Bill obviously owns this film and the fact that the master's greatest Kung Fu secret is how to make your hands glow, well, that's just flat out mindblowing.

Lo Lieh kicks ass in a rare heroic role in this early kung fu tournament flick. A minor classic, it was the first Hong Kong martial arts film to play in American movie houses.

Fun film with good fights and a decent if unoriginal story.

"Five Fingers of Death" just flat out owns. Deserves its cult following as a Kung-Fu classic. I really love the Ironside theme that was so well utilized in this and more recently "Kill Bill".

The fighting is brutal and the pacing is relentless - so much so that the tournament itself is pretty anticlimactic. I wish the villains were more interesting (except for hard-head, he's great), besides being ludicrously mean. But otherwise a solid kung fu film that is consistently entertaining.
