I'm not quite sure why this remake has the potential to entertain your socks off despite it not translating well to 2011... Whatever. It's time to cut loose and enjoy this well-made ball of fun, filled with some great dance numbers, toe-tapping music, and a welcome new lead actor/dancer Kenny Wormald.

The kind of film that seems to constantly teeter between being an inch away from really good and an inch away from really bad. Uneven mediocrity is the result, and scoring this 50 is probably a bit lenient. I quite like Miles Teller, and he was the highlight for me. 2009's Fame remake was a lot better.

really awesome dancing movie and really cool. 10 out of 10 it was also really funny too.

Haven't seen the original ( I know, shameee), but this remake was great. It had me wanting to get up and dance. Love Julianne Hough

Better then expected, but still not as good as the original. Kevin Bacon is much better then Kenny Wormald. The premise also fit the 80s a lot better then it does now. It was still kind of fun though.

27 years later and the plot of Footloose is still stupid.
