Summary: 7 years on from the original Fortress movie, Brennick and his family are still on the run from the Men-tel corporation. Finally, they give in, and surrender, only to find themselves imprisoned in a new, more sophisticated fortress prison in outer space. But Brennick's not a man to give in easily, and with a 10 year old son waiting for him back on earth, he's going to pack some serious assault on the evil corporation (imdb)

Very weak sequel to the not-great original with poor production values. It's an uninspired rehash of the prison story without any of the cod-sci-fi nonsense and great characters that made the original fun. I have a high threshold for junk movies like this, but this is poor by any standard.

an utterly uncalled for sequel, that--unlike most of it's kind--actually includes the original actor. it's quality is lacking, but it's adherence to the spirit of the sci-fi genre is commendable. the acting and plot are another story, there are few saving graces, but the ones that are there are not to be dismissed.
