I saw this film for pretty much one reason only: Jenny Lewis. She was one of the only good things about the movie too. Pretty much the only character I really liked. Angelina Jolie played basically the same character as she would a few years later in Girl, Interrupted (1999) - that cool, badass chick that everyone loves until she corrupts them. Not a very good film overall. Not really recommended unless you're a Jenny Lewis fanboy (like me) or a Angelina Jolie fanboy (not like me).

Generally a pretty corny as shit flick, but Jolie was damn fine and she really steals the show. The music is also quite fitting and good for the film, at least a good enough movie for one viewing.

Long list of 90’s movies where I’d like it a lot more if it was just the people chillin in their natural environments but that’s not the movies really. There needs to be some sort of build etc. Them giving stick and pokes to each other while mazzy star plays come on

Makes you loath for a chick gang.

Doesn't pass the idiot test. Characters make simple situations overly complicated by choosing the worst possible alternatives. Also left a mess of things unresolved.

I can appreciate some of the artistic touches but this is really just some barely passable teen emo stuff. Not a bad watch though.
