Summary: Brother Tazio of Velletri is said to be a healer and magician. Messer Nuccio dè Tornabuoni has fallen in love with Lisa, the wife of the head of justice in Florence, Lapo de Pazzi, and vows to conquer her. He spreads word that Fra Tazio is able to exorcise the Demon of Lust from a woman's body. Naturally, he takes the role of the holy brother Tazio himself. However, he is found out.
