awesome slapstick. it's not as over-the-top insane as his later films, but some of the gags are amazing, and for his first film as writer/director/star, he already shows a lot of flair for visuals and the intelligent satire that made him the biggest man in HK cinema. it also recalls mel brooks a bit more than his later work, though i'm not sure why.

Funny spy movie. On par with those other movies you liked from Stephen Chow.

If you're a Bond fan, a martial arts fan and a fan of silly humour then this is probably a movie for you.

Sporadically astonishingly hilarious.
