Summary: Five criminals get together to rob a bank in Mexico. On his way to their rendezvous point, one of them gets into an accident, and stumbles upon the Titty Twister Bar. This little detour sets up the terror that awaits the outlaws and the officers on their trail. (imdb)
Has a few good individual scenes, but overall, fails in terms of both comedy and action, areas which its predecessor excelled at. There is no tension in the confrontations, and they are shot and presented horribly by the director. A lot feel downright amateurish. The humor is mostly lame and unimaginative. I don't ask for much from my mindless vampire-killing action comedies, but this sequel didn't match even my meager wants.
The worst thing about this film is that the Campbell/Thiessen intro is the best part of the film. There's no enjoyment until the vampires arrive, and even then it's very crippled. I actually enjoyed the first. Some individual moments are incredible, and it tries for some technical innovation, but it ultimately suffers from sheer bad movie-making. Unless you can go for a more lacking and much more campy version of the first film, avoid.
