Parts of this were painfully predictable. A bigger problem is that it was plainly made for the wealthy and white with several cringe-inducing jokes hinging on the audience sharing a privileged viewpoint. Overall it was a good story well-executed--not laugh-out-loud funny, but pretty consistently amusing.

Racist.

Very choppy, a little stilted and generally nothing special, there are a few laughs to be had, although they're mostly in the second half. The first half, on the other hand, is tepid and dull, and even George Segal's usual comedic talents struggle to keep it afloat. All in all, though, it's entertaining enough, in a kitsch seventies way.

I doubt there is a comedic actor who is more underrated than George Segal. Almost all of his films are funny, but for some reason he never seems to get his due.

Quite witty and very well performed.

Has some completely hysterical scenes, like Dick's inept first attempts at robbery, especially when he sticks up a nightclub full of black guys. There's good chemistry between George Segal and Hanoi Jane, and it's amusing to see their gradual, mutual improvements in the art of armed robbery. While I enjoyed the middle portion, the stale, obvious beginning was weaker, as was the ending, a long, overdrawn heist that should have been much shorter. Still, a very entertaining picture.
