An unstructured mess of improvised dialogue which starts about one thing then spends the last half being about something else. The genuinely funny or touching moments in this film aren't enough to save it on repeat viewing.

Insightful, thoughtful and introspective, but not actually that funny.

Starts out funny, then gets decidedly dark and unpleasant for a real long time. Which I actually really liked. Pushes Sandler into some decently heavy dramatic territory without really compromising the Sandler schtick.

Seth Rogen's kind-hearted nature are the only highlights of the film. Adam Sandler's character is atrocious and loathsome, a guy that you really hate and want to do away with.

This movie had potential, too bad it's squandered in the last 45 minutes.

Apatow's whiny characters pitch audiences into a vat of self-pity.

How this movie got greenlit is beyond me. It totally loses its focus when the Mann character gets more important and you don't turn it off because the few scenes with Bana are great but the movie just went nowhere for a long time.Big dissapointment.

I'm normally a fan of the Apatow comedies. Not this one. The first few penis jokes were funny - the next 200 weren't. And there were too many subplots for a singular film, with focus randomly shifting from one character to another at will.

Misleading title.

If you throw out Leslie Mann's character and focus on Sandler and Rogen, this movie might be the best comedy of the year. However, due to her character's existence, the movie is extremely uneven and loses almost all that it has going for it without her presence.
