Great subject, somewhat solid documentary. The pretentious style did nothing for me and the manipulating opinion of the filmmaker is irritating.

Entertaining enough but really I'm not so interested in the controversy of the match compared to the man vs. machine aspect. Also there's a lot of bullshit and bias in the documentary. Sure you can't really say that computers have the upperhand in the game of chess yet but it's also dumb to hint that these acomplishments by IBM were cheating.

Somewhat entertaining but wholly irresponsible filmmaking. Seriously, we get that you guys think that IBM cheated, you don't need to cut to shots of The Turk every three minutes. Towards the end we're given the impression that Garry's playing ability and legacy went straight into the shitter as a direct result of the Deep Blue match, and we're even tossed a few Enron references. Classy.
