This is just bad, just downright bad. Almost all the footage inserted in the beginning is so obviously not shot for this film it's downright laughable. The actor playing Bruce Lee doesn't look like him very much at all, either. It's obviously just a hack attempt to capitalize on Bruce Lee's fame after his death. It takes a full hour and twenty minutes to get the fight scenes that Bruce Lee is really in, which is the only reason to watch this. If you do see this, skip to that part.

Bruce Lee's death during the filming of Game of Death didn't stop the producers from throwing together an only partially thought out plot that had little to do with the original storyline. And, though there are scenes that do contain Bruce, most of the film is a bad look-alike. If you rent the film, skip to the end to see the Bruce scenes. His part really doesn't need the "plot" from the first part to play into.

Surprisingly disappointed, despite what all the cool emo/indie kids have to say about it. No question, he's a great fighter, but acting/speaking roles aren't his calling. Same with Jet Li, and to a lesser extent, Jackie Chan. Silly plot, co-actors are passable at best, but the fight scenes are decent. Kareem is probably my favourite part.

I was pretty appalled by it. The only redeeming aspects are the scenes in which Bruce Lee's archive footage is in there - and there is about 20 minutes of it in the whole 1hr 45min final film. This really is an abomination. And using footage from Bruce Lee's actual funeral? Despicable.

Let's be honest; pretty goddamn boring, both with and without Lee. The scenes featuring Bruce are overly self-indulgent, with long, drawn-out fights featuring philosophical thought. They are neither realistic nor exciting. And sorry, as much as I respect Kareem for his legendary basketball career, he sucked as the final fighter here. The rest is throw-away, generic, mostly uninspired action. A lousy film.

Some nice Bruce Lee footage inserted into a generic kung fu movie where a poor look alike (often wearing sunglasses or filmed in shadow) substitutes for him. Bruce Lee's films often had cliched and predictable plots, but it was his technical skill and magnetism that made them classic. This is not a Bruce Lee film.

The first half of this movie is centered around mobsters sitting around the phone and wishing Bruce Lee would call them, like a really clingy date. 'Bruce Lee''s face is in shadow more often than a nazgul's, and he wears his sunglasses at night, and also all the time. Half of the fights have zero impact to their blows, and the editing is often incredibly sub-par. But, even while the rest of the film is bland, the final sequence of fights are a testament to how incredible Bruce Lee was.

Looking at how this was made, this is a Frankenstein of a movie. As a result, the plot kind of jolts along, there's a professional fight to break up the street fighting, no real closure scene with the love interest either. I'm not sure about other versions but the dubbing on mine was awful, Lee's character had this soprano pitch that felt as out of place as his body double. Great choice on the 7"2 Kareem for the penultimate pagoda fight.

It doesn't really feel right to call this a Bruce Lee film. He died after only filming afew of the scenes. The rest of the film has been made using a dodgy likealike just so the film company could make money. The finished result is a mishmash of good and bad which has nothing inbetween. The best part is the end which has Bruce Lee doing what he does best. It just a same the that couldn't be said about the rest of the film
