Summary: A cute young blonde girl gets abducted. You know your favorite nightmare scenario about what happens to girls like this who disappear? Well, that's exactly what happens -- from the girl's point of view, no less.
This movie started out great. It was dark and twisted. you fell in love with the two children, but the movie dies as they grow up. especially the very end. you're waiting for this powerful finish with Leslie being reunited with her parents, but it is just a huge disappointment.
This film plays it too safe. If you're going to use a topic as risque as pedophilia and teenage prostitution, go all the way. Gillian Jacobs' make up was way too good, even after she JUST WOKE UP! I commend Damian Harris for attempting something this provocative, he just cut it too short.
This isn't the kind of TVish movie which is all about the parents' handwringing. God only knows why a world-famous movie star's son decided to make something like this, but here it is. On the whole it's well-made, but will ANYONE on this entire site like something this dark and this lurid besides me? This may be the most unrecommendable good film since _Bad Lieutenant_
