Summary: Sam is having the worst day of his life when he gets thrown off his art course and dumped by his girlfriend in the same day, he then meets a girl called Hope who gives him back his smile. Sometime later he meets her again, but Hope is now very unhappy, Sam makes it his mission to find out what's wrong with her and help his friend find her smile. (imdb)

Michael Davis' third film of the same idea - an underdog, lovesick hero narrates his quest for true love while explaining his personal philosophies on love and sex. Add a perverted best friend, raunchy humor, a stock comedy villain, and serve. The only change is that Eight Days a Week was high school students, 100 Girls was college students, and now in Girl Fever we have young post-college adults. I still found it mildly amusing, but, you know, law of diminishing returns.
