You know how people jokingly say shit like "I could listen to David Sedaris read the phone book?" Well I would watch Philip Glass make a bunch of pizzas. OH FUCK I JUST DID.

"Glass's status as one of America's most venerated and mocked highbrows matches gracefully with his peripatetic cultural and spiritual life." - Bill Weber

Philip Glass seems like a really genuine, pleasant and hard-working individual. However I am unsure of his worthiness as a documentary subject.

Fuck. It's good. I don't know, even if it weren't how could I not love something which documents such beautiful people (the most beautiful, probably, even Woody Allen and Ravi Shankar had a scene). Glass, himself, is amazing, though and it was really nice being given such an intimate look into his life.

I like the music of this composer, and he makes a moderately interesting subject in this reasonably well-done documentary. Score based on partial viewing (missed the start).
