There was several issues with the story and pacing of the film that I cannot give better score for this nice animation. I liked how much it tired to be a decent one. There was several sympathetic characters, like a crow, two evil trolls (father and older son), and though the hedgehog was nicely done, it had several unsuccessful characteristic. The story was simple but contained too many disturbing subplots. And the (slapstick) action was not always made in best possible taste.
