Loved the card tricks and game scenes.

Chow has a great deal of charm, but otherwise there isn't very much going on in this film. The entire narrative relies on gimmicks and twists, which really limits the emotional impact. There is some reasonable humour scattered throughout the film, but it is insufficient in both quality and quantity to overcome the film's other deficiencies.
