Summary: Financier Gunasekaran (N.F. Varghese) & barber Pappu (Rajan P. Dev) had been lifelong friends, but when it came to keeping his word about marrying off his town-educated daughter Sunanda (Kaveri) to Pappu's son Chakrapani (Jagadish), Gunasekaran reneges on his word, causing an angry Pappu to ask Chakrapani to woo Sunanda, by hook or crook. An equally agitated Gunasekaran tries to twart Chakrapani's efforts, but soon the rivalry turns into a communal issue, because of their caste differences. (by iceblox)
