Part of the charm of the first movie was the way the comedy was just barely balanced by the other elements. This one's a full-out comedy and it never gives you a break from the gags. Fortunately, it succeeds because it's quite funny and still pretty clever at times, but I still miss the slightly underplayed humour of the original.

A strange sequel; while the first one was spot-on with both its pacing and variety of scenes, this one fails for those exact reasons. The film is painfully slow during its middle portion, which isn't just bad by itself, but disengages the viewer for the ending. Worse, while the gags in the studio are initially funny, they become duller and more repetitive as the film goes on, to the point where all humor is exhausted. Ultimately, it's a boring and poor sequel.
